ACTS' management team leaders bring 15+ years of years of independent experience in AALSO and AZA related live animal, ozone treatment systems. ACTS' staff members provide complete integration expertise based on system design, understanding of the aquarium/zoo living environement and most importantly validation of the system with extensive reliability and safety testing.
ACTS' mPact-LS (Life Support) systems have been installed in leading zoos across the country. The mPact-LS system is designed for maximum animal safety with an emphasise on removing all ozone prior to introduction back to the animals. In addition, robust ambient monitoring of ozone levels in equipment rooms and outdoor areas is an included system feature.
Our first zoo project was with the San Diego Zoo in San Diego, California. Known for being one of the most stringest state/countywide regulatory agencies, the mPact-LS system was flawlessly introduced and passed all ozone off-gas and safety requirements. In addition, the system treats the lagoon waters for both the new Elephant Oddyssey and Jaguar exhibits at the zoo. The system updates many of the older ozone systems used throughout the water features in the park.

ACTS', formerly Amfil Technologies, recently sold and integrated ozone systems for the recently completed Elephant Odyssey and Jaguar Water Exhibits at the San Diego Zoo.
The photos below show the delivery of the ozone destruct equipment behind the Elephant Odyssey Exhibit. In addtion, system control and ozone equipment installed in Ozone Room are also included at the bottom. The ozone decomposer and ozone control system was integrated into the existing zoo animal monitoring system. This portion of our system neutralizes any potential ozone offgas through a heating and catalyst based system.
